Designer Dark Green Shaker Kitchen - Poundbury, Dorset, September 2018
Dorchester, Dorset
The Design
Our clients were completely renovating a property on the popular area of Poundbury in Dorchester, including the addition of an annexe and full restructuring of the main property itself from top to bottom. Having already supplied the kitchen for the annexe, Phase 3 now came in to design the kitchen in the main property, where the client was aiming for a bespoke appearance (and matching utility, not seen in pictures).
The Process
The client being architects themselves gave us a huge advantage, as they had already looked at how they could adapt the ground floor to match their needs, and were able to provide specific floor-plans for every section. The clients had considered where they wanted different areas in the room, so when it came to the kitchen design, it was down to us to think outside of the box find the best possible way to achieve this.
In the end I'm sure you can agree that the result is spectacular, with a Paint-to-Order door colour that contrasts with the custom carcass colour magnificently. The majority of the kitchen units are completely standard from our normal range, which uses Milbourne doors, with only a couple of units needing to be adapted to meet the customers individual requirements. Solid surface kitchen worktops are from the Pietra range (in Paper Moon) and the ceramic sink and taps were selected from our range of Caple kitchen applicances.
