The Design
Our client was having a large extension built to the rear of their home in West Bay, Dorset, including an extension beyond a previous external wall of the kitchen into a sun room. This changed the way you would plan movement around and through the kitchen, and also the way that different areas of the kitchen will be used. All these elements were factored into the design process.
The Process
Our client had already consulted with another kitchen company, but found they were unsatisfied with the suggestions and layout offered. Our head designer Jamie viewed the property to measure up the kitchen, and went through our client's likes and dislikes, both in their current kitchen and with the proposed design they had already been given.
Having really grasped what the client was after from the get-go, Jamie understood what they were hoping to achieve from their brand new kitchen, and their required specification. We even sketched a layout with the client whilst on site to ensure that this had been achieved. Our design software produced the necessary drawings and incredibly, the client asked for just one set of minor changes, showing just how close we were from the start!
The result is a contemporary shaker-style kitchen in an elegant Porcelain colour, using beautiful cabinet doors from our Fitzroy range, stunning black granite worktops from our Minerva worktop collection and new kitchen appliances.
