Mornington Kitchen- Porcelain & Graphite
Bridport, Dorset
For this project our client had one requirement: practicality; ensuring the newly built Kitchen extension would easily support and accommodate their family of 6. Having already looked at possible designs before visiting our showroom, our client knew what they were looking for in terms of aesthetics; we simply advised on some space saving tricks to optimize as much space as possible. For this project, getting an understanding of how the family used their current Kitchen helped us design a feel-good flow. Adding 2 single ovens, set at an optimal working height has allowed for maximum cooking capacity, making family life that little bit easier.
Our client chose a two-tone Kitchen to create a modern yet warm atmosphere. The island and wall units were presented in Porcelain whilst the base units in contrasting Graphite. To further enhance a difference in areas, a Quartz worksurface set with a marbled white was laid upon the base units and a contrasting Grey Veneto on the island, adding a real sense of uniqueness and edge to this Kitchen. Furthermore, glass wall units were fitted with flush internal lighting to extenuate the wooden cabinets created within the Phase- 3 workshop. We think the use of glass units and open lighting work really well in this Kitchen and add an element of warmth.
This Kitchen is yet another excellent fit by Neal Cullen. Neal did a fab job at getting around complicated down pipes, amending and creating bespoke units on site to give our client the top-quality finish they were looking for.
